Cut Path- Контур за рязане

What is a cut path?

A cut path is a 0.25-point-thick vector object in your document, which is separated from the print objects in a separate layer or file. This contour is used for further cutting on a cutting plotter or router and is not printed.

In the production of printed advertising materials, you can create projects of random and non-standard shapes. To acquire such shapes, they must be cut on router cutters or cutting plotters after printing. That is why it is important to prepare your files properly.

How does a cut path work?

Finishing machines read and execute the objects specified in your cut path. The cutting device literally repeats the contour and cuts the material. You can submit your cut paths in vector files, in file formats convenient to you, such as EPS, AI, PDF, and CDR. In the link below you can see a visualization of what a cut path is.
